That independence is the entire point — it's what lets me tell you a product is disappointing without worrying about a relationship with a brand. If that ever changes for any post, I'll say so clearly at the top.
The Order & Arrival
The review starts the moment I click buy. I note how long it takes to arrive against what was promised, and what state it shows up in — because shipping and packaging are part of the real experience, and a beautiful product that arrives damaged or weeks late has let you down before you've even opened it. These become the first two scores.
Living With It
Then I actually use it — not for an afternoon, but properly, for as long as it takes to know the thing. I build it, live with it, clean it, and notice how it holds up. Only then do I judge build quality, value, and looks, because those only reveal themselves with real use. A lot of products charm on day one and disappoint by week three; that's exactly what I'm watching for.
The Five Scores
